The mission of the Okolona Elementary School Library is to ensure that students and staff are effective users of information and ideas. The library media center strives to provide the school community with a range of materials on appropriate levels of difficulty that will encourage growth in knowledge, establish a life-long love of reading and foster information literacy.
Students in grades 3-5 may check out two books each week or one at a time. Students in kindergarten- second grade may check out one book each week. Books must be returned to the library to renew checkout for an additional week. Students who have overdue material may not check out other materials until the overdue materials are returned. All lost books must be paid in full.
