ABOUT CURRICULUM AND INSTRUCTION
The Okolona Municipal Separate School District utilizes the Mississippi College and Career Readiness Standards and the Mississippi Curriculum Frameworks as the district's kindergarten through grade 12 instructional management plan. Academics is a top priority for the Okolona Municipal Separate School District, and teaching and learning are the most essential functions of our schools. Educators and school leaders within the OMSSD work collaboratively to create and provide a quality education for each student and a learner-centered environment fostering academic growth by providing content-rich learning experiences.
