My formal education includes an A.A. in Liberal Arts from Mary Holmes College, B.A. in Mass Communications from Rust College, M.Ed. in Administration and Supervision from Tennessee State University, and an Ed.S. in Principalship from Arkansas State University. My hobbies include writing as I wrote for The Tennessee Tribune. During my time there, I interviewed and wrote stories on former Secretary of Energy Hazel O'Leary Ph.D., the late Tennessee Titans quarterback Steve McNair, Princess Kasune Zulu of Zambia, political activist Angela Davis, R&B singer Regina Belle, etc.

My name is Hasani Mhoon, a native of Calhoun City, MS, and I bring 8 years of experience in education working as a Special Education Teacher and School Counselor. I have additional work experience as a School Support Therapist, an AOP Counselor, and as a College Counseling Intern at MUW. I received my Associate of Arts Degree in Business Administration from East Mississippi Community College, and completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Educational Psychology from Mississippi State University. I furthered my education at Mississippi State University where I earned a Master of Science in College Counseling with a minor in Public Policy and Administration and an Educational Specialist Degree in School Counseling. I am currently a National Certified Counselor and a National Certified School Counselor.
