Congratulations, to all of the Educators recognized at the board meeting. A special shout out to OES District Teacher of the Year, Ms. Johnson. Congratulations to our OES Administrator of the year, Mrs. Triplett and our staff of the year Barbara Jones. We are proud of you all.
OES’s Angel Tree is off to a great start. We appreciate all of our angels in the community that help to bring smiles to the faces of our little chieftains. #BetterTogether
OES would like to congratulate our Parent of the Year, Ms. Ann Crockett. We also congratulate Mrs. T. Kyles, Mrs. C. Smith, & Mrs. Jennifer Bowens for being nominated. We appreciate everything you all do for the students and staff at OES. #OESpto #BetterTogether
Due to an increase of COVID-19 cases, Okolona Elementary School K-5 students will transition to distance virtual classes from Dec. 4th - 18th. The traditional return date will be Jan. 5, 2021.  #SafetyFirst #OES
OES is still crashing classes because of positive behaviors. Today we drew the following names from our positive behavior boxes: Eryn Pulliam, Peyton Moore, Kayla Mims, and Martavious Ford. Congratulations!
We have the best PTO ever at OES. They gave all the staff sanitizer that read, “Thankful for the hands that teach our children!” #BetterTogether
Congratulations, Amari Collins for winning the Xbox drawing. It pays to have your wellness visit done at Access Health. #BetterTogether #OESisThePlaceToBe
Congratulations to our student teacher, Mr. Agnew, for his upcoming graduation at Alcorn State University. We wish you well on your new journey in becoming an educator. #BetterTogether
On Fridays at OES we crash classrooms. All week students, teachers, and staff can fill out positive referrals. Each name goes in for a drawing of a girl, a boy, a staff member, and a teacher. The lucky winner’s class gets crashed for a prize. Congratulations! #OESisThePlaceToBe
