School-Based Health Services

 

Okolona Elementary has a licensed school counselor on staff to assist all students. Mrs. Tessa Honeycutt is the counselor for Okolona Elementary School. If you should have any questions concerning students and their grades, records, and or transcripts you can call her at 662-447-5406.

The Okolona School district has partnered with Access Family Health Services to provide the students of the Okolona School District with access to a clinical atmosphere located within the school facility, recognized as a School-Based Health Clinic.

What is a School-Based Health Clinic?

A School-Based Health Clinic (SBHC) is a regular medical clinic located on a school campus. The purpose of having a SBHC is to allow students, faculty, and staff to stay at school as much as possible, which maximizes instruction time and productivity.
