Due to the number of both positive COVID-19 cases and close contacts, Okolona Municipal School District has decided to transition the 6th grade student body to distance learning for a 14-calendar day period beginning Tuesday, August 31, 2021. Teachers will report to school each day for virtual instruction and planning. OMSSD is committed to the safety and well-being of our students and employees. 6th grade students will return to school Tuesday, September 14, 2021.
